How Your Landscape Design Comes to Life

Design + Build Process
  • Contact Us

Reach out through our form or give us a call. Within one business day, we’ll connect you with the right designer or account manager to discuss your goals and gather a few details about your property.

  • Vision Call

You’ll have a short conversation with your design expert to talk about your ideas, priorities, and budget. This helps us understand how you want to live outdoors and what’s most important to you.

  • On-Site Consultation

We’ll visit your property—usually within a week—to walk the space together. During this visit, we’ll discuss how you want to use the area, materials you like, and how we can phase your project over time if needed. Before leaving, we’ll schedule your design proposal meeting.

  • Design Proposal

Your proposal includes a clear scope of work, design fees, and a preview of your vision—complete with concept sketches or photos of similar projects. Design fees typically range from 5–10% of your total budget. However, 50 to 100 percent of those fees can be credited toward your build, based on project size.

  • Design Phase

Within a week of signing, your designer begins measurements and develops a scaled 2D or 3D plan. You’ll meet to review layouts and refine details like lighting, irrigation, plantings, and materials. After up to two revisions, you’ll receive your final design package with a fixed-price estimate and clear construction plan.

  • Build Agreement

Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll finalize your agreement, collect your deposit, and schedule your project.

  • Construction

Your Field Production Manager oversees every detail—coordinating materials, handling permits, and keeping you informed from start to finish. We maintain the highest standards of quality while minimizing disruption.

  • Final Walk-Through

When the work is complete, your manager will walk the site with you to ensure everything meets expectations. You’ll see your vision fully realized and ready to enjoy.

  • Ongoing Maintenance

To protect your investment, your account manager will recommend maintenance options to keep your new landscape thriving. Clients who sign a qualified plan immediately after installation receive Central Kentucky’s only two-year plant, labor, and material guarantee—a level of protection unmatched in the region.
