A United Landscape designer would be thrilled to guide you through the process of planning your next project whatever its scale.

Planning is the key to ensuring a successful project that will have you excited about its inception, relaxed during the building process and thrilled upon its completion. It’s easy to spend thousands of dollars on landscaping so you should show the same due diligence as you would say buying a car. Your landscape should at the very least complement your family’s lifestyle, or preferably pull you outside to a new lifestyle you maybe only dreamt of having.

The Process

1. Initial Consultation to Determine Scope of Work

Our initial consultation will be free of charge, this is an opportunity for you to meet our designer face to face and we will discuss with you your goals and expectations more fully and create an understanding of scope of work a and determine budget for the project. From this meeting we will determine if our landscape company is a good fit for your project and move on to the design stage.

2. Design Stage

After the initial consultation, you will receive a design contract along with the established design fee, based on the initial consultation. Fees for design are based on the scope of work, but expect to be quoted around 5-10% of the budget on design services.  Our design fee will pay for itself in the first design solutions we bring you (saving effort, time and money).  We pride ourselves on providing well-thought-out, cohesive designs and offering creative solutions for design as well as the build-out and installation.  For smaller projects we typically offer imaging designs that give a conceptual visualization of what your project will look like when complete. People who need that visualization gain a lot of confidence from this method. For larger projects our Master Plans are complete design packages that include to scale site plans, that may include design for lighting and irrigation, a complete planting plan, hardscape layout, material choices and all build-out details.

3. Build Stage

Once the design is established you will receive an estimate for build out of your project. On acceptance we will proceed in a way that is the least inconvenient to our customers. It is our intention that the build out be as exciting as the finished landscape. United Landscape has a great team of gardeners, masons, welders, carpenters, irrigation and lighting specialists.  We ensure that all construction complies with city permits and our own high-quality standards.
